Dr. Romer has been practicing dentistry for over 33 years and Orthodontics for over 26 years. He moved to the Texas Riviera 16 years ago and has 2 offices to better serve the community. His offices are located in Rockport and Port Aransas, Texas.
Jon P. Romer, DDS
Dr. Romer is a 1977 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry where he was a Clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Faculty Advisor for the Student Chapter of American Society of Dentistry of Children. He taught with Dr. Phil McGraw before he became famous on the Oprah Winfrey show and is currently an Associate Instructor with the American Orthodonitc Society. Dr. Romer is the Director of Dental Career Center of Texas, a Dental Assistant Training School since 2006. He holds a Fellowship in the American Orthodontic Society and the Academy of General Dentistry as well as Lifetime Memberships in both the American Orthodontic Society and the Harley Owners Group.
Tonya Romer, RDA Business Manager

Tonya is the Business Manager: She is behind the scenes most of the time, making sure that everything is running smoothly. She does everything from fix the computers, training new training new employees, bookkeeping and marketing. Occasionally, you will see her up at the front desk visiting with the patient that she has grown to know over the last 6 years. When Tonya isn’t in the office, you will find her gardening in her back yard, at the beach with her husband Jon or playing with her 2 Chihuahua puppies, Carino and Chiquita.
Crystal Rodriguez, RDA Office Manager
In 2009 Crystal started out in our office as an Administrative Assistant. We needed a Dental Assistant in the back, so she went to the back to assist the Doctor. and then we pulled her to the front again. Crystal hung in there, she learned it all and was promoted to Office Manager in 2011. She consistently attends courses in her areas of specialty to keep up with the latest trends that might affect our business. But on top of her expertise, she is just a great person to have around. Crystal simply likes working with people, and especially enjoys witnessing firsthand the exciting changes that cosmetic dentistry brings about for our patients. When she's not helping us run things, she likes to work out at the gym, float the local rivers and spend time with her 2 sons Noah and Gavin.

Chelsea graduated Rockport-Fulton High School in 2010 and Graduated Dental Career Center of Texas in 2011. She always has a positive attitude and brings a little ray of sunshine in our office everyday. Chelsea assist Dr. Romer chairside, she really enjoys getting to know the patients and always has fun. On Chelsea's day off she enjoys fishing (with her pink fisning pole that lights up), jet skiing and going to the beach.
